The Valencia Region Network of Translators and Interpreters (XARXA or XARXATIV) is an independent nonprofit association that aims to ensure and protect the interests of translation and interpretation professionals in the Valencia region. In general, it also aims to:

Promote, encourage and maintain the professional image of translators and interpreters in the Valencia region.

Foster and maintain information exchange between members and act as a network providing mutual support.

Organize and assist in organizing events – refresher courses, seminars and conferences – that lead to the best possible professional development for members of the association.

Contact via appropriate channels and eventually collaborate with bodies and entities in both the public and private sector as deemed appropriate by members.

Arrange whatever other activities may be deemed appropriate.
The scope of the Association is the Valencia autonomous region, while not discarding possible participation or collaboration with other associations, institutions, agencies and public and private entities in different fields, provided their mutual aims are the same.
